Box Hill Inter advance to 2010 WPL Grand Final
Box Hill Inter have secured a spot in the 2010 Women's Premier League Final
after defeating Heidelberg United in the Qualifying Final on Friday evening.
Box Hill, the minor premiers for the season, earned their spot in the final after defeating the second-placed team, 4-2 in a thrilling match at Wembley Park.
Temporary Car Park Closure - Wembley Park
The Wembley Park car park will be temporarily closed from Monday July 12th
until further notice. This is due to re-surfacing being completed as park
of the Wembley Park re-development works.
All visitors are asked to park across the road at Sparks Reserve until the works are completed. We remind everyone to use the footbridge across Canterbury Road when moving from Sparks Reserve to Wembley Park.
Please do not cross Canterbury Road
without using the footbridge as it is a very dangerous section of road, especially
during late afternoon at peak hour.
Illegal Use of Wembley Park & Sparks Reseve - WARNING TO OFFENDERS !
We remind user groups that Wembley Park and Sparks Reserve are the official grounds of Box Hill Inter Soccer Club. As such no training or matches are to be held on either of these venues without club or council permission. Our members have been instructed to remain vigilant and report any unauthorised use immediately. Council will issue on the spot fines to any offenders and if necessary the police will be called.
Members of Box Hill International Soccer Club are urged to keep any eye out for illegal use and to contact your team manager or committee members if any groups are spotted.
REMEMBER: This is the only ground that we have and we need to protect it for our children. Dob in any illegal users if you see them !
Wembley Park Upgrade Taking Shape
The upgrade to facilities at Wembley Park is on track and the club expects handover of the re-fitted Grand Stand in early April.
Courtesy of a $2.3m Federal Government grant and funding from the City of Whitehorse, the project is planned to be totally completed by late July.
Website Not Displaying Correctly ?
We have had a few enquiries from Members regarding the 'Drop Down Menus' not displaying correctly. This issue is related to older versions of Internet Explorer. We are working on a solution for users who have older versions on their computers. In the mean time, a quick fix is to d/load the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. We have provided a link below for you to get the latest version from Microsoft.
